GSRA 2011 Announcement

We want to recognize OED-SIG members who have received awards from ABCT and other professional organizations. Congratulations to Danielle Lindner for being named the 2011 Graduate Student Research Award! She presented a study titled, Examining Predictors of Body Image and Eating Disorder Symptomatology: The Role of Social Comparison in the ‘Circle of Objectification’ at our annual 2011 convention. Ms. Lindner is a student at the University of Central Florida working under the mentorship of Stacey Tantleff-Dunn & Florian Jentsch.

Previous Winners Include:

2010 winner, Jessica Yu. Title: “Using the Binge Eating Disorder Module of the Eating Disorder Examination to Compare Presentation of Individuals with Binge Eating Disorder to Individuals with Bulimia Nervosa.”

We will be accepting applications for the Annual Student Research Award for the OED-SIG from now until August 1st, 2012. Please send abstracts (up to 500 words) to Cortney S. Warren at cortney.warren@unlv.edu.
